How to Stop the Inappropriate Kahoot Names in School I let them use their phones if they don’t have their laptops – I think it’s worth it – thekrugenator. My 8th graders love it – all they want to do is play it. Usually, we actually take notes at home and do practice problems in class, but I also have them out in their answers to that classwork. This works particularly well at the beginning of the year for freshmen when many of them are still kind of shy and not willing to say they didn’t understand something when we review the homework. Then when I’m done checking, I have a list of who got what wrong, and which problems I definitely need to go over. While I’m doing that, the kids are putting in their answers on Socrative. I do visual homework checks, which take 4 or 5 minutes (physics class). I like that you can easily edit the quizzes created by other users and share quizzes that you make – Tallulahsweet I love Kahoot and my students beg to “play” it. ![]()
